Why we use it

• To operate and secure the website, including detecting and preventing misuse. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure.

Who processes it for us

The website and its contact form are hosted by Netlify, Inc., which processes the data described above on our behalf. Messages are delivered to our email service provider. We do not share personal data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

International transfers

Bernima is based in the United States, and data you send us is processed there. Where the law of your country requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the mechanisms that law recognises.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence, and then delete them. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.
